About The Saint Charles RC Club
The Saint Charles RC Club (formerly The Saints R/C Model Airplane Club) first started around 1965 and has been active since that time. During the years we were fortunate to have the same flying site. After the flood of 1993 we were able to build one of the finest grass flying fields in St. Charles County. The field is 460 X 420 ft. with the ability to fly any direction. Parking is parallel to the active runway which depends on wind direction. Pit and pilot blocks are set for both E-W and N-S wind direction. We have a 21 X 25 shelter for Members and Guests use. Here is the map, or you can set your GPS to 38°48'56" N 90°32'34" W
If you are a beginner we have pilots with extensive experience working with new pilots and can make your transition to solo pilot as easy as possible. If you are an old hand at R/C flying, then come join us and enjoy the camaraderie and our fine facilities. We look forward to getting to know you!
Restroom facilities are available at the field year round for members and guests. We meet at 7:00 PM the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Mark Twain Hobby Center's meeting room or at the field. Summer meetings are generally held at the field from April through September. Required changes to this schedule will be posted on the Meeting Schedule section of the web site. The Mark Twain Hobby Center is located at 2793 West Clay Street Saint Charles MO 63301. Phone 636-946-2816
